AUBURN, Ala. - On July 23, 2026, the Auburn Police Department, with the assistance of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County SWAT Team and the U.S. Marshal Gulf Coast Regional Task Force, arrested Paris Montel Beasley, 22, of Auburn, Alabama on the charge of certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.

The arrest stems from an investigation into a previous encounter between Beasley and the Auburn Police Department on June 13, 2026. Beasley was contacted by Auburn Police officers on an unrelated case. During that encounter, Beasley was found to be in possession of a firearm. Further investigation revealed Beasley is legally forbidden to possess a firearm.

An arrest warrant was obtained, and Beasley was taken into custody in Opelika. He was transported to Lee County Jail where he is being held on a $3,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
